The Diaries of the Mundane so far includes six parts titled, Port, Forest, City, Suburb, Border and Transcontinental. Each of the completed pieces are the result of my wanderings through different environments looking for images of things that I would otherwise forget to retain, coupled with thoughts that I would also forget. The images have filmic elements and already some cultural encoding and trigger connections and disconnections. Their relation to the banal text is a space I am interested in exploring, that is the relation between shared memory and the transit of everyday life through different geo-political locations.
