Play in one act
The act takes place in a market in Mexico. There are lots of stands in both sides of the street with a variety of goods from cooked food, CD’s, clothes and accessories to fruit and vegetables. The sunlight points towards five particular stands - the ones of Fruit vendor 1, Fruit vendor 2, Fruit vendor 3, Fruit vendor 4 and Cuerito’s vendor. All throughout the act, there are people walking through the market. The vendors wear aprons and all the dialogue is done shouting.
Fruit vendor 1 (Standing with a banana bunch on the hand and animated body language)
